In most cases, no. Western Axis operates on a placement model — we provide, install, stock, and service the machines at no cost to you. All we need is space and access to power. In some arrangements, a nominal fee for electricity or internet may apply, but this is discussed and agreed upon upfront.
We work with the world's leading AI vending and smart retail manufacturers, so our offerings go well beyond traditional vending. Depending on your location and tenant profile, we can place AI smart vending machines, smart coolers, micro markets, beauty and health vending units, electronics dispensers, and arcade or entertainment systems — or any combination of the above.
We do — completely. Our machines are remotely monitored using AI-powered software that tracks inventory in real time. We handle all restocking, servicing, and maintenance. Your staff doesn't need to manage or even think about the machines.
We serve a wide range of locations including apartment communities, hotels, office buildings, hospitals and urgent care centers, shopping centers, warehouses, manufacturing plants, and more. If your location has consistent foot traffic and a need for convenient retail access, we'd love to talk.
Once a placement agreement is signed, we move quickly. Machine selection, sourcing, and installation are typically completed within a few weeks. We don't purchase equipment until your contract is in place, which means when we commit — we're ready to execute.
